My name is Janice Connell, owner of Island Oasis Travel. I love what I do, and I love that I get a chance to meet new people everyday. IMPORTANT PASSPORT NOTICE

Mexico requires Six months minimum validity for entry into the country. What this means for us is that, If your passport will expire within 6 months of the trip date you need to renew it now. I repeat, if your passport expiration date is between 10/2015 and 4/2016 you need to renew it now 


IMPORTANT TRAVEL TIPS

  1. Please make sure you reconfirm your flights 24 hours prior to departure. Check in is 2 hours prior to departure.
  2. You will get 1 free bag up to 50lbs per person, one carry on and a personal item for free. 

  3. Frontier Airlines will issue you your seating assignments and boarding passes upon arrival 

  4. Upon arrival into Mexico, you will have to clear immigrations, have your passports ready.

  5. After clearing immigrations, you will pick up your luggage. The airline will let you know which carrousel  to go to.

  6. Proceed outside where your Apple Representative will be waiting for you.

  7. Your luggage tags represent the color shirt they wear and they will be holding up signs.

  8. Apple Vacations will get you on your transfer to get to the resort.

  9. Please do not talk to anyone in the airport. They are time share people!

  10. Upon arrival to Dreams Puerto Aventuras, you can check in at the front counter.

  11. Please note, rooms may not be ready till 3pm. You can go eat, drink etc. until they are ready.

  12. To sign up for tours, please speak with the Apple Rep at the resort.

  13. Take smaller denominations of money with you. $20’s, $10’s, 5’s and 1’s.

  14. Tipping is up to your discretion….

  15. Please notify your bank and let them know you will be in Cancun/Riviera Maya

  16. International phone plans are available thru your provider. Please call them for rates.

  17. The day before you leave, please contact the Apple Rep. They will let you know your

  18. Transfer information.

  19. Your return flight will come back thru the East Terminal.     

  20. You will go thru customs at our airport on the return. Once you clear customs, you are free to go home.
